Versace Opening Its Golden Doors in Boston
Gianni Versace opened the doors to his first store in 1978 in Milan, and now, Bostonians are lucky enough to welcome Versace's newest boutique at Copley Place. As a child of the 80's, I grew up seeing Versace's midus touch all over the covers of my beloved fashion magazines and on CIndy Crawford's House of Style (who didn't watch that show??) The Medusa head, the golds brighter than the sun, the intricate patterns and designs... ugh! I love this stuff!
When you really think about it, Versace's flashy prints and ostentatious designs couldn't be further from our conservative ways here in Boston, but perhaps these Italians will be the ones to jazz this place up! We are so excited to come under Medusa's Versace trance and welcome one of fashion's greatest designers to one of America's oldest cities. I think we'll get along just beautifully! Ciao Bella!
Please join our friends SAM AND JESSICA SLATER along with JOANNA HUMPHREY FLYNN in partnership with BOSTON MAGAZINE in support of the ELLIE FUND to celebrate the OPENING of the brand new Versace Boutique
